A Place to Call Home -Tenant & Landlord Information
A Resource for Housing Agencies, Community Services, Renters, Landlords
Do you have questions about:
- how to find a rental place?
- your rights or responsibilities as a renter?
- a landlord’s responsibilities and rights?
A Place to Call Home is a plain language set of tools designed for a group setting. Yet it is flexible enough to advise clients one-to-one, or for one person to read. It is easily adapted for use by other communities in Saskatchewan.
The resources include: Introduction and Table of Contents, Slide Show, Presenter Notes for each slide, Scenarios for discussion, and Handouts.
A Place to Call Home was developed by the Prince Albert Literacy Network and funded by a grant from the Government of Canada Homelessness Partnering Strategy.
